Emperor Poultry and Game Feeder (50kg)

Description

Emperor Poultry & Game Feeder, very large capacity. Its volume is 70 litres – equivalent to approx. 50-55kg of pelleted feed or corn. Not suitable for non-free flowing feeds like mash.

This is an Outdoor Gravity/Silo Feeder for use with many types of poultry and game birds. Durable, made of non-reflective polymer, and built to withstand exposure to the environment. Suitable for large flocks of 100 birds or more.

Very large feeder – over 3ft high and 2ft wide, unique design, made in the UK by BEC using recycled plastic materials. Can be used in large release pens, open woodland and moorland locations. Used on the grouse moors of Scotland and by many gamekeepers when rearing pheasants.

The Emperor feeder can also supply your birds with water. By capturing rainwater around the central rim channel and draining it through a hose (supplied), it can feed any water container placed near the unit.

The feed pan dispenser tray, which is fixed under the container with 4 screws (supplied), fills with feed by gravity. It has a well-designed snap-fit lid which cannot be prised off by, for example, badgers. Very stable with three tanalised timber legs (3″ 2″), which allows flexibility for height adjustments or easy replacement.

The Emperor Feeder we supply comes with a Large Feeder Pan, 275mm in diameter, which is suitable for chickens (see video). Not suitable for mash-type feeds.

If you have ‘messy eaters’ you can add an Anti-flick Ring to the large feed pan to prevent most wastage. We also offer a smaller Standard Feed Pan, available separately, which you may find suitable for some types of birds.
