Large Plastic Poultry Feeders for flocks of 20 hens or more. Guide: allow 1kg pelleted feed per day for 5 hens.

The Gaun Tripod Chicken Feeders are large plastic poultry feeders with a red tripod stand and white hopper.

This Large Tripod Poultry Feeder is most useful for large flocks of hens as the feeding trough always stays filled from the tank above. Not suitable for mash.

Easy to fill, simply unscrew the lid with easy grip handles and pour your feed in. Some self assembly required.

With the raised feeding saucer there is less chance of contamination from the birds, so pellets will stay clean, whilst the anti-flick grid also means less wastage from the birds flicking their food about. The saucer is quite deep which also means less chance of the birds flicking the feed out.

The domed shape of the tank is specially designed so that the birds can’t perch on it and contaminate the pellets from above and the feed is quite protected from the weather too. The feed pan stands 16cm from the ground.
