Description

Natures Grub Red Mite Powder is a natural mite repellent made from Diatomacous Earth – 100% natural; 100% pesticide-free; works mechanically against red mite and lice.

Available in 3 sizes: 200g puffer; 1kg tub; 2kg tub.

Diatomaceous Earth is a 100% natural product, made from the ground-up fossilised remains of ancient shell creatures from river beds. It is safe for both humans and animals.

DE can be used on animals and birds to treat against external parasites like lice, fleas, mites, and even internal parasites. It can also be used as a mineral supplement by adding to their feed.

DE works when the mites crawl through the powder to feed on the hens at night. The microscopically sharp shards that make up DE scratch the mite’s waxy shell, causing them to dehydrate and die.

It is advisable to wear gloves and a dust mask when applying the powder as in some cases it can be an irritant.
