Smite Red Mite Liquid Concentrate

Description

Smite Liquid Concentrate – a powerful disinfectant and sanitiser to break down organic matter and kill red mites. Available in 1-litre concentrate (with a dosing pump for a 30 ml dose) or a 5-litre concentrate. 

Smite Professional Liquid is a non-toxic biocide concentrate that will kill red mites in chicken houses when mixed in a 6% solution with water. Do not spray on the birds.

1 litre of concentrate makes 33 litres of solution at 3% – dilution guide, add 30ml to one litre of water. At 6% solution, 1 litre makes 17 litres – add 60ml per litre of water. 5 litres makes 165 litres at a 3% rate and 85 litres at a 6% rate.

Smite is a powerful disinfectant which kills micro-organisms, bacteria and viruses to keep your bird or animal housing clean and healthy. It is also a super degreaser that breaks down organic matter, and therefore the habitats where mites and lice live and thrive.

To clean and sanitise your chicken coop, spray thoroughly – we advise using a Pressure Sprayer or knapsack sprayer – allowing the liquid to penetrate all the cracks and crevices.  Scrub to remove all debris, and rinse (gloves and a mask are advised). Birds can be allowed back in as soon as the coop is dry.
